Semantic Analysis for German language
We are a group of authors and linguists.
For a new project, we need a technician who can setup a PHP, Python or Java software for our company which does the following.
The application must import twitter data which comes from a simple XML Feed.
Each text phrase must be processed through the script which decides about the text’s tonality, i.e. is it positive, negative or neutral tenor.
The results should be saved in a CSV file – no design, no gui or similar.
PLEASE DO NOT DEVELOP THE SEMANTIC FEATURE FROM SCRATCH!
We accept any free and open source solution for the tonality detection.
But make sure that it has a German language support/database.
Maybe you are going to use "gate" which is famous for computer linguistic features, but i am not sure if it understands German language…
For bidding/applying, we expect the answers for these 3 questions:
1. How long will the setup+development take?
2. Which open source tools are you going to implement for the application? (German language database/support is strictly required)
3. How much will be the total cost/estimate?

Web Contact Info Extraction
I need a site scraped for the contact information which resides on 2 different pages. It has a search feature by zip code which takes you to a page with limited info and then the program needs to click on the person’s name to get the remaining info. This is only for one state so not very big.
I want the contact data to be exported in either CSV or Excel.

We need a person who understands statistics at a deep level and can effectively use Microsoft Excel to create macros between various sheet. This will ultimately become a large database. We will need statistical analysis to be done on some detailed areas. Explained in Interview.

search component for Joomla website, must be possible to use in more then one occasion/page/sites
We are looking for a search component that will be used for Joomla 1.5 (or later) websites.
It should operate like this:
a website visitor enters his zipcode in the search field, and the result is a list of the nearest stores or shops that sell a particular product.
The database is an excelsheet with about 2000 addresses (shops or stores: name, address, zipcode, country).
an example of this you can find on http://www.urtizon.nl/ (go to menu item ‘verkoopadressen’.
It should be working for zipcodes in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
More details can be provided.
It must be made in a way that the webmaster can connect a database to the searchmodule and place it on any page he wants.
